The Saskatchewan Band Association (SBA) promotes and encourages the growth and development of instrumental music in Saskatchewan through programs, special projects, professional development, and advocacy. Membership is open to any individual, group or organization interested in furthering the development of bands in Saskatchewan. The SBA represents community bands, school bands, the Saskatchewan Pipe Band Association, band directors, music educators, parent associations, students, education institutions, community organizations and other music associations.

The Saskatchewan Choral Federation promotes choral music in Saskatchewan. It is a membership-based organization whose mandate is to ensure that the maximum numbers of choirs exist in Saskatchewan now and in the future. The Federation facilitates the development of choir directors, accompanists, singers, music vocal scores and audiences. Through the sponsorship of training programs and conferences, the Federation ensures that choir directors are available to direct choirs in Saskatchewan communities.

The Saskatchewan Music Educators Association (SMEA) is committed to the advancement of excellence in music education. Through promotion of workshops, festivals, special projects, educational opportunities for virtually every age group, as well as professional development opportunities for music educators, SMEA supports and celebrates music diversity in Saskatchewan. SMEA has a multitude of musical resources which are available to all members. Established in 1908, the purpose and objective of the Saskatchewan Music Festival Association (SMFA), a volunteer-based provincial association, is to promote excellence in music and speech arts by providing performance and learning opportunities through competitive music festivals in the province. In addition to the production of 49 annual local music festivals, SMFA provides a provincial syllabus, entrance to Annual Provincial/National Finals, Concerto Competition, Opera Competition and participation at the national level of music festival competition. SMFA coordinates hiring and scheduling of adjudicators, workshops, fosters recognition of volunteers, organizes provincial archives, provides the Canadian Composer Series and commissions original works by Saskatchewan composers .

The Saskatchewan Orchestral Association (SOA) is dedicated to supporting, encouraging, inspiring and educating the orchestral community and people of Saskatchewan in an effort to nourish and create a vital and sustainable arts and cultural community in Saskatchewan. SOA supports its member groups with operating and project grants and organizes annual public summer workshops in Regina and Saskatoon to complement the programs of its member groups. SOA also offers professional development grants to teachers of orchestral string instruments.
